Pets are welcome at the Coral Sands Inn in Palm Springs for a $25 per night stay fee. Please take reasonable care to bring a well groomed pupster poolside and keep your barking bowser at home.

DESERT DOGS

Here are some tips to help keep your pets cool and safe:

Trim long-haired dogs during the summer. But not too short because dogs can get sunburned.

During the summer, they must have plenty of shade and lots of water available.

If your pets are indoors, keep the temperature around 75 to 80 degrees.

Don't walk your dog in the middle of the day. Their paws can burn and they can quickly dehydrate. Walk them early in the morning or in the evening.
